Welcome to the Presentation of...

The Best Site of the Net Unofficial ReBoot Award!

Ah, this was a difficult choice for us! However, having considered all the ReBoot sites we could find with scrupulous care, and taking note of the 500+ e-mails we received during the course of the voting, we narrowed down our vast selection to these five sites:

The Archive.jpg

We said:

We loved Clearsky's extensive selection of screen captures, her fanfiction collection and not least her recent message to the online community. Truely a site with original content, and a great site for any ReBoot fan.

You said:

"Legacy is a legend!"

"The screen captures are awesome, I get all my pictures from there"

"Clearsky rocks. Okay?"

Dot's Data Compression Takeout

We said:

Fastest food in and out of Mainframe...Koani has obviously put in a huge amount of work into her site. Although DDCT is very new, we found the information offered at this site was difficult to match. Regular and frequent updates kept us revisiting in curiosity - and her list of links provided a major starting point for our search for best site.

You said:

"Useful, informative and interesting."

"Koani is so friendly and so quick to post submissions. She shows a lot of dedication to her site."

"The WBE is one of the strangest things related to ReBoot on the internet - but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing."

A Minor Glitch

We said:

A Minor Glitch was definitely one of our favorite sites - and we were positively bombarded with positive e-mails for MG's site. We loved everything about AMG - funny, new, interesting and you're guaranteed to learn something!

You said:

"I made a Bobopoly set. My whole existance is complete after visiting AMG!"

"Her insta-poems are to die for!"

"MG hates us to say this, but she's a /celebrity/. I love her because she finds new and refreshing ways to look at ReBoot. You should see what she's got on her Christmas tree, I never saw anything so cool in my life!"

Julia Cat's ReBoot Corner

We said:

This was another of our favorites - Julia's site is, of course, one of the oldest and most respected ReBoot sites on the internet. With information ranging from characters to #ReBoot instructions to the fanfiction archive Julia is famous for, this site has everything ReBoot!

You said:

"Julia is friendly and fun to talk to, and her site is tops!"

"Even with all the great new ReBoot sites emerging, Julia's still got it. Her Corner of the Net is where I live!"

"We LiSTees love Julia to bits and bytes. Dood, her site is a ReBoot institution!"

Slack and Hash's Domain

We said:

We liked this site for many reasons - the artwork and fanfiction were beautifully created and the site was beautiful to look at and easy on the eyes. However, our favorite section had to be Hash's Page O' Stuff - rare videos, Playstation clips, music videos - a refreshing change from some of the more run-of-the-mill ReBoot sites out there.

You said:

"Slack and Hash have originality and they have content. What more could you ask for?"

"Those ReBoot chibis are the damned cutest things you'll ever see!"

"You click on links and they lead to content - the whole page is packed with ReBoot, and you don't get any of that 'this is my page so I'll inexplicably post Johnny Quest crap'. It's important for a ReBoot site to be about Reboot, you know? Otherwise what's the point?"

For the nominees listed above that weren't fortunate enough to win, here's a token URA seal to honour the fact that you were shortlisted by the fans! *applause*! We were very impressed by the standard of all the sites listed above, and agonised for cycles over which one to award the 'Best Site of the Net' URA...

So who did we choose...?

Julia Cat's ReBoot Corner!!

To Julia, we present this URA, with our sincerest congratulations!

Why?

Why did we choose Julia Cat's ReBoot Corner? Well, overall, Julia's site has the most content, the most credibility (having stood the test of time) and is also very promising. Julia has a radio play in the works, and her page is thoroughly maintained and neat and easy to navigate. Not only this, but Julia writes and creates ReBoot images - practically all the aspects of every URA award were fulfilled in this one website. We especially loved her website design page, as it showed Julia's awareness and helpfulness as a member of the ReBoot community.

The Best Site of the Net wasn't awarded simply on the basis of what the website had or didn't have, but on many different factors. A major factor in our decision was the participation by Julia in many aspects of ReBoot on the internet - her involvement with the LiST (which was praised to the skies by the voters) and #ReBoot, and her prompt responses to requests. Most of all, Julia displays through the ReBoot Corner a great love of the show, in every part of her site.

Finally, we received more e-mails in support for Julia Cat's ReBoot Corner than for any other site - and these awards are first and foremost about the favorites of the fans. Congratulations again, Julia - your site is amazing!
